วันที่ 20 สิงหาคม 2569 เวลา 09.00 น. พล.ต.ท.สยาม บุญสม ผบช.น. เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดการฝึกการอบรม Advanced Human Smuggling and Financial Exploitation Training
ซึ่งจัดโดย สำนักงานสืบสวนความมั่นคงแห่งมาตุภูมิ หรือ Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) โดยมี พล.ต.ต.พัลลภ แอร่มหล้า รอง ผบช.น., พล.ต.ต.โชติวัฒน์ เหลืองวิลัย ผบก.สส.บช.น. และ Mr.Bryan Anderson รองผู้ช่วยทูตสืบสวนความมั่นคงแห่งมาตุภูมิสหรัฐอเมริกาประจำภูมิภาค (Deputy Regional Attaché, Homeland Security Investigations : HSI) พร้อมคณะ เข้าร่วมด้วย โดยทำการฝึกอบรมระหว่างวันที่ 20-21 สิงหาคม 2569 ณ ห้องประชุมอัจฉริยะ บก.สส.บช.น.

การฝึกอบรมดังกล่าวทางกองบัญชาการตำรวจนครบาล และ สำนักงานสืบสวนความมั่นคงแห่งมาตุภูมิ ได้คัดเลือกผู้เข้ารับการอบรมซึ่งเป็นข้าราชการตำรวจสังกัดกองบัญชาการตำรวจนครบาล จำนวน 64 นาย เข้ารับการอบรม ในการฝึกอบรมครั้งนี้ เจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจกองบัญชาการตำรวจนครบาล จะทราบถึง ภาพรวมของหน่วยงาน HSI Human Smuggling Unit และ บทบาทหน้าที่ภายใต้โครงสร้างองค์กรของสำนักงานสืบสวนความมั่นคงแห่งมาตุภูมิ Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) และ กระทรวงความมั่นคงแห่งมาตุภูมิสหรัฐอเมริกา U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) รวมไปถึงอำนาจของหน่วยงานในเรื่องตรวจคนเข้าเมือง และเทคนิคการสืบสวนสอบสวน เพื่อยกระดับศักยภาพในการสืบสวนคดีอาญาและตั้งคดีความผิดมูลฐานเพื่อทำการสืบสอบสวนฐานความผิดฟอกเงิน ตลอดการฝึกอบรม ผู้เข้าอบรมจะได้เรียนรู้แนวปฏิบัติที่ดีที่สุดในการสืบสวนการลักลอบขนคนเข้าเมืองและการฟอกเงิน กรณีศึกษาต่างๆ รวมถึงการสาธิตเกี่ยวกับวิธีวิเคราะห์อุปกรณ์อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ ในการปราบปรามการลักลอบขนคนเข้าเมืองและความผิดด้านการเงิน อีกทั้งยังเป็นการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ซึ่งกันและกัน ตลอดจนการประสานความร่วมมือด้านการปราบปรามอาชญากรรมร่วมกันอีกด้วย

On August 20, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., Police Lieutenant General Siam Boonsom, Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Bureau (MPB), presided over the opening ceremony of the Advanced Human Smuggling and Financial Exploitation Training, organized in cooperation with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).
The ceremony was attended by Police Major General Pallop Aramla, Deputy Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Bureau; Police Major General Chotiwat Lueangwilai, Commander of the Investigation Division, Metropolitan Police Bureau; Mr. Bryan Anderson, Deputy Regional Attaché, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI); and representatives from HSI.
The training is being held from August 20–21, 2026, at the Atchariya Meeting Room, Investigation Division, Metropolitan Police Bureau.
The Metropolitan Police Bureau and Homeland Security Investigations jointly selected 64 police officers from various units under the Metropolitan Police Bureau to participate in the training program.
The training provides participants with an overview of the HSI Human Smuggling Unit, including its roles and responsibilities within the organizational structure of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Participants will also gain a better understanding of HSI’s immigration-related authorities and investigative techniques.
The program is designed to enhance the investigative capabilities of Metropolitan Police Bureau officers, particularly in criminal investigations involving human smuggling, financial exploitation, and money laundering. It also focuses on identifying predicate offenses and developing investigations that may lead to money laundering cases.
Throughout the training, participants will learn best practices in investigating human smuggling and money laundering, examine relevant case studies, and observe demonstrations on the analysis of electronic devices and digital evidence in support of investigations into human smuggling and financial crimes.
In addition to strengthening investigative knowledge and professional capabilities, the training provides an important opportunity for Thai and U.S. law enforcement officers to exchange expertise, share operational experience, and further strengthen cooperation in combating transnational and financial crimes.
